A thinking space for busy people
New Perspectives
A midweek pause for clarity, reflection & growth
We don’t need more noise. We need space to think.
New Perspectives is a 40-minute weekly session for thoughtful people with busy lives who want to pause midweek, reflect deeply, and reconnect with what really matters in their work and life.
Whether you're managing a team, raising a family, navigating a life transition, or simply feeling overwhelmed by the pace of things — this is your place to slow down and reset.
This is a gentle beginning. We’re starting small, with an evolving community of curious and purposeful people who are ready to think differently — and make space for more intentional working lives.
Who this is for
This space is for anyone who:
-
Juggles multiple responsibilities and rarely gets uninterrupted time to think - like a parent, manager, carer...
-
Feels the pressure to keep going but senses the need to slow down to move forward more wisely
-
Craves deeper meaning, clearer decisions, and a more grounded way of living and working
-
Appreciates meaningful reflection over surface-level tips
-
Is curious, thoughtful, and values personal growth — even if they don’t know where to start
You might be a professional leader, a caregiver, a creative, or simply someone at a crossroads. If you’re tired of rushing and ready to reconnect with yourself, you're welcome here.
New Perspectives is a space for thoughtful people who want to slow down, ask better questions, and explore new ways of finding meaning.

Why join?
Midweek reset: Step out of urgency and into perspective. These sessions offer a calm pause in the middle of your week, helping you slow down and think more clearly.
Non-committal: Come when it suits you. There’s no pressure to attend every week — just join when it feels right.
Free for now: New Perspectives is currently in its soft launch phase, so you’re welcome to join at no cost.
Real impact: Each session is designed to leave you feeling calmer, clearer, and more intentional in how you move through the rest of your week.
Thoughtful community: Be part of a small, reflective group of like-minded people who value depth, awareness, and meaningful conversation.
Each week brings a new perspective
Each week, we explore a timely topic — from energy management and focus to trust, decision-making, or emotional resilience.
These reflections are shared in weekly posts on LinkedIn, and via email to the Working Life mailing list. If a topic speaks to you, you’re welcome to join that week’s session to explore it in a quiet, live space. Are there any topics you'd like to bring to the group? You're welcome to suggest them - simply get in touch via info@workinglife.co.uk.
