Privacy & Confidentiality

Last updated: April 2026

Working Life Limited is committed to protecting your privacy and keeping everything you share in our sessions confidential. This page summarises your key rights and how we handle your information.

Confidentiality

Everything discussed in our sessions is confidential and will not be shared with any third party, including your employer, except in the limited circumstances described below.

Confidentiality may be broken only in two circumstances: (1) if there is a risk of harm to yourself or others, or (2) if criminal or illegal activity is disclosed. In both cases, relevant authorities, your employer (if they are funding the Working Life services) or other services may be informed.

If your coaching is employer-funded, reporting to your employer covers only general observations about progress, never session content.

More details can be found in this document.

Privacy

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict, or transfer your personal data at any time. To make a request, contact us at info@workinglife.co.uk. We will respond within one month.

How we store your information

Session notes are stored securely and destroyed when no longer needed. Contact details are retained for no more than five years after the last interaction between the client and Working Life. Working Life may use Upheal for session support tools; all data processing complies with the Data Protection Act 2018 and UK GDPR. See Upheal’s privacy notice.
