🎂 Today, three years ago was the day that I took the decision to start asking people to pay me for the work that I could do with them, as a professional coach. Having freshly come out of my first coaching training and while still in full-time employment, it took some courage to say, “I think I can help you – shall we work together?”
3️⃣ In those three years, a lot has happened, for me, professionally, but also for the people I’ve worked with.
🌟In facts and figures, it looks a bit like this: Since I started, I have completed 405 sessions, 376 hours, with 64 clients in 9 European countries plus the US, Middle East and Africa – individuals, team managers, leaders, directors and VPs, from sole traders to those who help to run global multi-billion dollar companies. In their feedback, Working Life clients have rated me 9.64 out of 10, and Ezra clients rated me 4.8 out of 5 in 2023 and 5.0 out of 5.0 so far this year. (Sometimes as business owners we need to take a moment to brag… sorry! 😊)
And while the facts and figures go some way to evidence impact, the real reward comes from how people feel after we work together.
💙 “I just feel so much more confident in myself”
💙 “I take more time to think about what I want, before jumping right in”
💙 “I understand better how the way that I speak has an impact on my team”
💙 “I feel more optimistic as a leader – I’ve looked some fears in the eye and overcome them”
💙 “I now understand how I can influence my senior stakeholders better, and have a real impact on the business”
💙 “I have a much stronger sense of identity – and with that – purpose. I now understand why I have chosen this career, what the next step is for me and how I can take the right actions to get myself there”
✨ Today, I cherish a strong sense of ‘ikigai’ (a Japanese concept that refers to a reason for living, combining ‘what the world needs’, with ‘what you love’, ‘what you are good at’ and ‘what you can be paid for’).
😊 Today, I feel a sense of purpose which brings my whole being together with my role in this world. A feeling that what I have to offer to others in this world is much needed, is what I love doing and maybe, by those that I have worked with already, it’s much appreciated.🥰

If you’re wondering whether there is something I can help you with, let’s talk. I’m very happy to freely share an hour of my time with you to see where we can get to together, and that requires no financial commitment whatsoever. Find out more at www.workinglife.co.uk, I genuinely would love to hear from you.
